I've had several requests recently for some kind of introductory ScoutPal guide. At first glance, this tool might seem like a relatively simple thing to put into play. At second glance, not. There are a number of formatting options, for example, that can significantly affect returned results, and interpreting results once you get them isn't necessarily straightforward either. So, with the able assistance of ScoutPal pioneers Dave and Barbara Anderson, I've written the guide that appears in today's Update. It will be permanently archived at BookThink, and there will be a direct link at the ScoutPal website as well. I should emphasize that this is a work in progress. For experienced ScoutPal users, it might be a yawn to get through, but I'd appreciate it if you'd read it anyway and offer suggestions for improving it. Thanks.
