First, thanks go out to those of you who suggested article ideas last week. We can't always anticipate your needs/wants, and it's very helpful to see so many of them in black and white. Second, one of the upcoming articles I mentioned in last week's BookThinker has already arrived: "A Bookseller's Guide to Sellathon." This is a two-part series, and this week I'll make some introductory remarks and offer some suggestions on how you can use ViewTracker to improve your auction titles. Finally, Biblio announced two important changes this week. One, a joint link between Biblio.com and the OCLC WorldCat database. Read more about it here. And two, a new partnership with BiblioQuest International, owner of BibliOZ.com, Australia's leading search service for out-of-print and collectible books. Booksellers who currently list their inventory with Biblio.com will now have the option to list their books with BibliOZ.com as well. If you've been considering an alternate venue, note that Biblio has gained significant ground on the big players this year, and I'm hearing independent reports of improved sales from booksellers.
