The signed 1910 2-volume set was #79 of 500 sets published. Both book and dust jacket were in near fine condition and sold for $7,200 after 2 bids.
Coming in at #2, the 1610 5-part was bound into a single volume "in the 17th century." It sold for $6,999 after 16 bids.
The UK seller called the book a "rare first English edition of the most influential book of the modern era." It attracted 8 bids and sold for $6020.59.
